Commission Terms & Conditions

Thank you so much for asking me to draw your beloved pet.
Please take time to read through the following T&C’s below before committing to the commission and paying the deposit.
By submitting your name and email you agreeing to the terms and conditions.

  • Once the commission has been commenced the deposit is not refundable, unless the commission is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by me.

  • The final balance is required before I am able to hand over the commission.

  • If you are unhappy with the final outcome, I will try my best to offer solutions and/or to keep working on the current drawing until you are happy. In the unlikely event that we cannot come to a resolution and if you are still unhappy with the outcome, I am unfortunately unable to return the deposit owing to materials used and time taken to complete the drawing.

  • Unless otherwise specified, I will choose a paper with a background colour I deem most suitable to the colouring of your pet to make them really stand out. The paper I use comes in a variety of colours, I usually use muted tones of greys and brown etc. Examples of all the papers I use can be found on my website under previous commissions.

  • If you would like to receive progress photos throughout the drawing, I ask that you notify me if you spot something you are not happy with at an early stage as possible in order for me to have the best chance to make suitable adjustments.

  • Whilst I am happy to make some small adjustments from the reference photo (excluding some dirt for eg) I am unable to make structural changes from the reference photo as this can change the ‘look’ of your pet too much. However, if in doubt please ask if you have something specific in mind as I can try my best to accommodate.

  • The final photo used for the commission needs to capture the pose/expression exactly as you would like in the drawing. So please ensure you are also happy with the coat colour, lighting etc on the reference photo.

  • The reference photo needs to be of suitably quality for me to work from in order to capture all the details of your pet. The best quality photos will demonstrate the individual hairs. If in doubt, please ask! I am more than happy to review many photos in order to assess suitability.

  • I am more than happy for you to post photos of the drawing on social media (in fact please do!) however I do ask that no digital adjustments are made to the drawing.
