Very excited to confirm that amongst my other shows I will be attending this summer (more details about those to follow soon) I have just been confirmed to be lucky enough to have a stand at this years annual Lincolnshire Show 2019!

One of the top agricultural shows in the country, the Lincolnshire Show is a firm fixture in the agricultural calendar and is a true celebration of rural Lincolnshire. Each year the show welcomes a crowd of 60,000 people and 2,500 livestock and equine visitors!

2019 is a very special year for the show as it celebrate 150 years of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society and 60 years since the Show was first held the Lincoln Showground. To mark this anniversary the show is introducing a 'Lincolnshire Lifestyle Marquee' which features Lincolnshire based local businesses. Having lived in Lincoln for the last 14 years, I could not think of a more fitting and perfect show for me to attend, and I am honoured to have been offered a stand.

This years show takes place on between Wednesday 19th - Thursday 20th June. If you are visiting and want to say hello (please do!) you will find me in the Lincolnshire Lifestyle Marquee which will be situated in the horticultural area, between the Floral Art marquee and the W.I tent - naturally, if I'm 'away' from my stand you will more than likely find me in the WI tent eating their delicious cake

Angel Exhibition - December 2018

At the beginning of December I displayed my work for the first time in a public space – at the wonderful Angel Coffee House, Lincoln. As a regular customer myself for many years (they do amazing coffee and sandwiches!), I was very proud to display my work for the first time in this wonderful setting situated in the heart of the historic city of Lincoln.

I’m also delighted to report that my work has been very well received and I sold many more prints than I expected. Enough in fact, that after the first weekend I had to hastily return to restock the print stand. Within the first few days I also sold one of the originals (the highland cow if you’re wondering) to a customer based in Bedfordshire. It shows that with the magic of social media, ‘local’ customers can in fact be from almost anywhere!

The Summer of Shows - 2018

Heckington Country Show

This summer saw for the first time, Victoria Ganley Art dipping its toe into the world of country shows. My first, Heckington Country Show, threw me in at the deep end slightly as it was the largest of the 3 I had entered and ran over 2 days. I had a lot to learn – mostly in relation to how to display my work in a marquee with a grass floor! I had no idea what to expect, how I would be received or even how I would fit in amongst the other traders. But I’m delighted to say, aside from a terrifying wind storm that hit the showground on the night before opening, it was a great success! I sold many prints and a couple of originals, and spoke to lots of lovely people with even lovelier dogs (perks of the job!)

July 2018

I was delighted to announce that I had been confirmed as an accredited member of the Association of Animal Artists.

The Association of Animal Artists is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild - so this is a very exciting step for me and my art. I am immensely proud to be able to display their logo.
